Johnny Edward Crawford

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Johnny Crawford, age 85, of 149 Quail Meadows Road Blanch, NC, who passed away January 11th, 2023, at his residence. Johnny was born in Mebane, NC, on November 11th, 1937, to the late Minnie and Robie Crawford. Johnny worked at Culp Weaving for many years, from which he eventually retired. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Crawford, his 2 sisters Ole Mae Hooker and Betty Glasgow, and his 3 brothers Elmer Crawford, Billy Crawford and Howard Crawford. Mr. Johnny Crawford leaves to cherish his memories his son John Crawford (Susan), his two daughters Penny Starr (Jackie), Mary Griffin (Wayne), his 11 grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren, his wonderful PCA, Wanda Crenshaw, and a host of nieces and a nephew, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday January 14, 2023 at Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington with the Pastor Don Pegg officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Friday January 13, 2023 at the McClure Funeral Service in Mebane.
