Judy Fay Davis

Ms. Judy Fay Davis, 71, of Haw River, NC went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 4, 2025 at her residence following a year of failing health. A native of Alamance Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late Al Ralph Davis and Alma Dillard Davis. In Judy’s younger years, she enjoyed roller-skating at the Mebane Roll Away. She was a determined and strong woman who in her 40’s, went back to school to receive her CNA degree. As a CNA, Judy worked for numerous years as a nurse at the Burlington Hospice Home where she made an impact on families in such a difficult time. Judy was full of life and was always on the go usually to help others. She enjoyed nothing more than family gatherings and spending time with loved ones and especially spending time with her loving niece, Beverly. She will forever be remembered for being a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. Survivors include her loving sons, Travis Lee Sykes and wife Scarlett and Philip Daniel Sykes and wife Caroline; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Levi, Lily, Ben, Ian, Launa, and Autumn; her sister, Brenda Davis and husband Billy, and a brother, Roger Davis and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving 10 brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday January 7, 2025 at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane with the Pastor Steve Sykes officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the graveside service at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane.
