Karen Annette Johnson

Karen Annette Johnson, 60, passed away on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington.  She was the daughter of the late Vance and Sarah Linens. Annette loved the beach and riding motorcycles.  She was employed at UNC and worked as a Medical Coder for 28 years. She is survived by her husband Keith Johnson; sons, Matthew Mabe (Kayla) and Thomas Sykes (Crystal); grandchildren, Makenzie Mabe, Lucas Mabe, Emma Mabe and soon to be born, Willow Sykes.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Scotty Ray Mabe.  A funeral service will be held on Monday May 16, 2022 at 6pm in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham.  The family will receive friends following the service and at other times they will be at the residence.  In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the charity of your choice in memory of Annette.
