Kathleen Linda (Gilroy) Paul

Kathleen Linda Gilroy Paul, age 64, of Mebane N.C., passed away on June 3, 2021, after a long battle with cancer.  She was born in Albany, N.Y. to the late John George Gilroy and the late Kathleen Julia Reynolds Gilroy.  She attended St. Lukes Catholic School and graduated from Schenectady High School.  Her passion to help others led her to earn an associate degree and work with special needs-individuals, including those with autism.  A move to North Carolina brought new challenges and opportunities, all of which she handled with resourcefulness and untiring determination.   Through it all, family and God always took precedence.  She is survived by her adoring husband, Gurdave Singh Paul, they were married in 1975; their three boys, Dr. David Singh Paul, John Singh Paul, Haridas Singh Paul and their wives, Dr. Bhakti Paul, Sabrina Paul and Bailey Paul, respectively; her adopted daughter Katie Gilroy-Delorenzo and her siblings Jacqueline, Michael, Anne, Amy and Mary.  Kathleen was a loving and attentive grandmother to Jonathan, Julianna, Sophia, Simran, Harris, Lilianna and Tobyn.  Relatives and Friends are invited to a memorial service to honor her short but amazing life, Sunday at 2 pm at McClure’s Funeral Home. 1308 S.
