Lois Davis Rogers

Lois Davis Rogers, 86, went to be with her Lord on September 5, 2022 at Authoracare Hospice in Burlington.  She was born September 9, 1935 to the late Jesse and Lily Davis.  Lois had a love for Christmas and animals. She also had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed working outside.  She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Howe (Mike); grandchildren, Stephanie Kennedy (Josh), Richard Howe and Sarah Howe and two great grandchildren, Jocelyn and Natalie Kennedy.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Rogers; sisters, Dot Edwards, Dorothy Frazier, Collen Odell and her brother, Charles Davis.  The family will receive friends on Thursday September 8, 2022 from 6pm-8pm at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane.  The funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Friday September 9, 2022 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane.  Entombment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family would like to send a special thank you to the Neuroscience Department at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill and also to the staff of AuthoraCare Hospice in Burlington.
