M/SGT. Dalton Fairfax Oldham, Ret.

M/SGT. Dalton Fairfax Oldham, Ret., 93, of Graham, NC passed away on July 21, 2022 at Mebane Ridge Assisted Living. He is the son of the late Otho Wingate and Nancy Browning Oldham, of Orange County, and was a native of Efland. He served in the US Air Force and retired after 21 years of service to his country. He graduated from Aycock High School in Hillsborough, NC. Following his time in the service, he worked as a cabinet maker and builder with Mebane Construction Company. Surviving is his wife of 70 years, Jeanette Delano Wilson Oldham; his loving daughter, Sharon O. McAlister and husband Matthew; his sons, Gary Alan Oldham and wife Rena, Dalton Oldham, Kenneth Durand Oldham and wife Melinda and Kevin Oldham; his 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; a sister Beulah Hoover and his brothers, Sam Oldham and wife Cindy, Jim Oldham and wife Brenda, and Roger Oldham, and  many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Richard Oldham; a granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Oldham; his brothers, Bill, Harry, and Walter Oldham; daughter in laws, Willie Mae Oldham and Angie Oldham. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday July 28, 2022 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Daryl Peebles Officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
