The Lord allowed Louise to live among us for 102 years and called her back to Himself Friday May 31, 2019.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Henry Heath Sr., parents, Lemeul and Mamie Holt, brother; Hugh Holt, sister; Eula Mae Braxton, son in-law; Dennis Pope, daughter in-law; Brenda Camp Heath and her grandson Jason Heath.
Survivors are daughter Pat Pope, grandsons; Blaine Pope and Chad Pope, son; Henry Heath Jr., granddaughter and caregiver Wendy Louise Heath, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Heath was the oldest living member of Hebron United Methodist Church in Mebane where she served in various positons from Sunday School Teacher, United Methodist Women, Board Member and UMYF Counselor.
Mrs. Heath retired from Hawfields Day Care after 25 years working with 3-4 year olds in 1998. In her spare time Louise loved basket weaving, many of which she donated to Hebron UMC to be auctioned at the Annual Harvest Festival.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Tuesday June 4, 2019 at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane. The family will greet friends after the service and other times at the residence of Wendy Heath.
The family would like to thank Dr. Deanna Jones, Hospice of Alamance-Caswell and caregivers of always the best care for all their help and support.
