Marvin Dean “Deano” Carson

Dean departed this world and woke up in paradise on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 after a long battle with COPD and congestive heart failure. He was born on February 6, 1960 to Marvin and Imogene Carson (both deceased). He is survived by his daughters Kristy Carson Proffit (Justin)of Burlington, Terri Renee Carson of Haw River and granddaughter Caylee Renee Murphy. Dean enjoyed all things outdoors. He made a career of being a mechanic from Foreign cars to dirt bikes and four wheelers, but cars were his specialty. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, racing and complaining about everything under the sun He was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and wife of 42 years, Kim Rene Dean Carson, parents Marvin and Imogene Carson and his great grandparents. He is also survived by his sister in law Lisa Montes (Daniel) of Burlington, aunt Ethel Ayers and Uncle Jack Wise of South Carolina and a host of cousins all from SC. A visitation will be held on Saturday July 16, 2022 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham. Flowers may be sent to McClure Funeral service in Graham.
