Mary Lee (Pearn) Conn

Mary Lee Conn, 80, of Graham, NC (formerly of Punta Gorda, Florida) passed away on August 9, 2023.  She was born on December 6, 1942 to William and Fannie Pearn of Kearny, NJ.  Mary moved from Kearny, NJ to Punta Gorda, FL with her husband Bill (deceased) after retiring as the owner of My Place 3 Beauty Salon. She moved to Graham, NC in 2022 to spend more time with her children. 

Mary loved crocheting, bingo, playing cards, watching Hallmark movies, playing with her pets, and spending time with family.  Prior to moving to Florida, she owned her own beauty salon, and really enjoyed interacting with her customers. In Punta Gorda, FL she worked for Publix for 20 years. She often vacationed in the Catskills with her family enjoying fishing, BBQ’s and bonfires. 

Mary is survived by her children, Debbie (Mike) Cargill, Susan (Rob) Klumpp, Robert (CJ) Conn, Ann (John) Bellingham, John (Joyce) Bryceland, and Billy (Lisa) Conn; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents William and Fannie Pearn, her siblings Paul, Billy, Joe, Josie, and Sandra, and her  grandson, Michael Rodas. 

This Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister is well-loved and will be deeply missed.

A funeral service will be held for Mary at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham on Saturday, August 12, 2023, beginning at 3:00PM. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service. Mary will be laid to rest at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Punta Gorda, Florida.
