Michael Lynn Robertson

Mr. Michael Lynn Robertson Sr. 71 of Martinsville, VA passed away at his home on July 14, 2021. Born in Rocky Mount, VA on April 28, 1950, he was the son of the late Dillard and Brownie Mae Rigney Robertson. Michael was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all. He had a love for animals especially his dogs he’s had throughout the years. He was a member of Gospel Baptist Church in Virginia where Michael loved the Lord and his church family. Over the years he had been lucky enough to travel across the country many times with work always bragging of all of the beauty this country had to share. Michael was a proud veteran of the US ARMY. Surviving is his wife, Dorothy Jean Robertson; his daughter, Elizabeth Robertson and his son Jay Robertson and wife Christy; his grandchildren, Mersades Mahurin, Mollie Robertson, Lane Robertson, Brandon Paul Gaus and Christopher Mabe; his loving great grandchild, Heaven Hamilton; sisters, Donna Scearce and husband John, Lisa Sullivan and Michelle Palmer; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Kevin Robertson and Michael Lynn Robertson, Jr.; a sister, Linda Paulette Hayes and his brothers, Robin, Mark and Kenneth Dale Robertson. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday July 19, 2021 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham, NC with the pastor Payton Gilbert Officiating.
