Odie Thomas Bradsher, 83, of Mebane passed away on October 19, 2021. He was a native of Person County, Retired truck driver for Burlington Industries with 30 years of service, following retirement he drove another 15 years for TST. He formerly attended the First Baptist Church of Haw River and was a member of People’s Memorial Christian Church and was a US Navy Veteran. He is the son of the late James Odie & Edna Lois Rimmer Bradsher. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lauren Elaine Boggs; son, Monte James Bradsher; brothers Neal Bradsher, James Bradsher; sister Edna Dixon Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie Deering Bradsher of the home; daughters, Lorri Boggs and husband Billy of Garner, Jerri Ferguson and husband Dan of Burlington; sisters, Mary Robinson and husband Wayne of Graham, Martha Bradsher of Mebane; grandchildren, Jessica Spellman(Alex), Kelsey Mallah(Gabe), Gary Long(Emma), Brandon Long, Ashley Ferguson, Michael Ferguson, great grandchildren, Halee Long, Mary Long, Joseph Long, Braylon Long, Rylen Ferguson, Gabriel Long.
A service to celebrate his life will be 3:00 PM Saturday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Pastor Walter Jones. Burial with military honors will follow in Graham Memorial Park.
