Pamela Anne Welch

Pamela Anne Welch, Age 63, of Mebane NC passed from her earthly home to her eternal home on September 28th at Duke Hospital with her loving family by her side.  Pam was born July 29, 1960, in Covington Va to Howard Wayne Welch and Elouise Seay Welch.

She was a 1978 graduate of Orange High School in Hillsborough, NC.  She received her Accounting Degree from Kings College in Charlotte, NC in 1980 and a Nursing degree from Durham Community College in 1986. Pam was also a Certified Medical Coder.

She was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC for the past 35 years where she served in various departments and was currently a Senior Medical Review Analyst.

She is survived by a son, Derrick Wayne Welch and wife Stephanie of Chapel Hill, NC; Sister, Tammy Welch Ray and husband Randy of Hillsborough, NC; Her Precious Grandchildren, Olivia Welch, and Wyatt Welch; Uncles and Aunts, Bertrand Seay and Nancy of Covington, VA, Karen Welch Rider and Dennis of Salem, VA

Pam will always be remembered for her Deep Dark Brown eyes, her beautiful smile, and her gentle spirit.

A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Pam on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 1:00pm at McClure’s Funeral Home 1308 S Third St Mebane, NC 27302. Officiating will be Pastor Donnie Cash.  Visitation with family will be held one hour prior from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
