Paul Knighten Obituary

Paul Knighten, 85, passed away on October 21, 2020 at Peak Resources in Graham. He was the son of the late Sam Cephus and Myrtle Saunders Knighten. Paul loved his trips to White Lake with his family. He retired from Culp Weaving after working there 44 years.
Survivors include his sister, Judy Aldridge (Benny) of Graham; step daughters, Brenda Elam (Tommy) of Wilmington, Sandra Wilson of Wilmington and Bonnie Eppley of Burlington; Grandchildren, Paul Morton, Lana Thompson (BJ), Lindsey Morton and Christie Odham (Matt); Great grandchildren, Trent Thompson, Neal Thompson, Charlie Mac Odham, Kiyah Odham, Taylor Perry and Jacob Perry.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Caulder Knighten and his grandson Christopher Perry.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on October 24, 2020 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham. The family will receive friends following the service.
