Rev. C. Frye Obituary

Rev. C.L. Homer Frye of Mebane, NC passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020. He was born July 17, 1932 & was the youngest son of thirteen children of the late Jessie Franklin Frye & Dora Shelton Frye. He is a graduate of Elon University & attended Wake Forest Seminary. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Doris Pickard Frye, two sons Stan Frye, wife Terry, Mike Frye, daughter, Jan Frye Metcalf, husband Mickey, five grandchildren & thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Kay Frye Sardinia, husband Frank & Nita Frye Mitchell, husband Melvin. Rev. Frye served churches in Bear Creek, Burlington, Caswell, Clayton, Grantville, Liberty, Sophia, Ramseur & Winston Salem, NC for over forty years as a United Church of Christ Minister. Under the Covid-19 circumstances, no public service or visitation will be held. You may provide condolences, memorials or remembrances at mcclurefuneralservice.net.
