Richard Stout Obituary

 

Richard Glenn Stout, 93, of Haw River passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at his residence. Richard was born in Alamance County to Glenn Henderson and Nettie Mae Perry Stout both deceased. He was a retired salesman for Rental Towel and Uniform and was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII. Richard was a member of the Baker Ray American Legion Post 427 in Haw River.

Richard is survived by his: daughter, Sheryl Stout and son, Vic Stout. Grandchildren, Heather and Shannon Stout. In addition to his parents Richard is also preceded in death by his brother, Noel Paige Stout and a nephew, Tyler Paige Stout.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Alamance Memorial Park. Officiating will be Dr. Judy Butler.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Authorocare for their invaluable services, The Challenge at Hideaway Farms for dubbing our Dad "the Mayor," and our friends and family for their limitless love and support.
