Ruby Speas Obituary

Ruby Green Speas, 86, of Mebane passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the AuthoraCare Collective, Burlington Campus(Hospice Home). She was a native of Hoke County and a retired Nurse having worked for several local Physicians and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mebane. She is the daughter of the late Martin Dow & Margaret Hewitt Green and the widow of Thomas Struther Speas.

She is survived by her son, Allan Thomas Speas of Mebane; brother, Robert Green & wife Joyce of Aberdeen; Grandsons, Joshua Speas & Jacob Speas and great grandson, Haven Speas

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 6:00 PM Sunday, December 6, 2020 At the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Pastor Sammy Ballard. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Collective, Burlington Campus, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215
