Russell Earl Pedelty

Russell Pedelty, 88, passed away at his home on Thursday September 23, 2021.  He was the son of the late Clark and Lois Pedelty.  He served in the US Army and then went on to become a professional dairy farmer in Alamance County.  He was a member of Hawfields Presbyterian Church where he was a Deacon and served as the church treasurer for many years.    Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mary Pedelty; daughters, Karen May (Robert) and Kathy Young (Cabell); and his grandson Robbie May. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Elwin and Milton Pedelty. The family will receive friends on Sunday September 26, 2021 from 4-5:30 at McClure Funeral Service in Graham.  A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday September 27, 2021 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham with the Rev. David Ealy officiating.  The family would like to send a special thank you to Debbie Bower for the care an support she provided them. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Collective  914 Chapel Hill Rd, Burlington, NC 27215.
