Sally Norris Obituary

Sally Williams Norris, 83, died Monday, October 18, 2021 at White Oak Manor in Burlington after several years of declining health. She was born March 24, 1938 in Alamance County to Gray and Vera Thomasson Williams. She was employed at Mebane Influential Hosiery for many years and retired from Stericycle in Haw River.
She joined Oak Grove Baptist Church in 1948 at the early age of 10 and was a faithful member until health hindered her attendance. Sally was sweet and easy-going, always having a kind word for everyone.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Lee Norris in 2008, her parents, and sister Clara Williams Evans, and brothers Thomas Williams and Jim Williams.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, from 11:00 – 12:00 in the sanctuary of Oak Grove Baptist Church, 5217 Oak Grove Church Road, Mebane followed by a graveside service. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face coverings and social distancing are requested.
