Samuel Capps Obituary

Samuel Wayne Capps, 62, of Burlington passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Samuel was born in Alamance County to Charlie Hackney Capps, Sr. and Evelyn Blanchard Capps both deceased. He was retired from Burlington Industries.

He is survived by his children; Jessica Capps of Raleigh, Joshua Capps of Burlington and Jonathan Capps and his wife Lauren of Graham. Grandchildren; Kayden, Major, Emarie, Bridgette, Riley, Charlotte, Evelyn. Siblings; Edna Younger, Judith Johnson, Charlie H. Capps, Jr., Richard Capps, Cheryl Dawson, Patricia Morris.

In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by sisters; Mary Ruth Turner and Rebecca Anderson.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Reverend Keith Porter. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening.
