Terry Newland Lane

Mr. Terry Newland  65, of Snow Camp, NC passed away on April 11, 2022 at his residence. A native of Escambia Co. Florida, he is the son of the late Newland and Betty Freeman Lane. Terry was a family man and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. Terry enjoyed and loved his work as he sold Air Freight for many years. He enjoyed the traveling aspect of his career as he loved meeting new people and having conversations with anyone he came across. Terry loved to fly as it was one of his greatest joys. Terry missed his calling as he was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his family always told his he should have been a comedian. Terry was a man who always put others needs above his own especially with his family, but nothing put a smile on his face like his grandchildren. Survivors include his loving wife Betty Shambley; his daughter, Christa Nicole Lane; his sons, Christopher Newland Lane and Johnathan Glenn Lane; his grandchildren, Taylor, Kylie, John, Kadence, Jordan, Karin, Diego, and Ray; his loving sister, Katrina Daggett and husband Wayne and his brother, Timothy Scott Lane and wife Sheri. A Celebration of Life for Terry will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday April 24, 2022 at his residence located at 2605 Cedar Top Ct. Snow Camp, NC 27349. . McClure Funeral Service in Graham is assisting the family.
