Obituary

Thomas Griffin, 67, of Snow Camp, passed away on Wednesday April 12, 2023, at his residence.  He was known in the community as “The Snow Camp Ranger”.  Tommy loved Bluegrass Music and enjoyed playing the guitar.  Left to cherish his memory are his significant other, Rebecca Edwards; daughter, Michelle Wrenn; stepsons, Charles and Leon Pegram; sister, Nancy Johnson and husband, Lewis; brothers, Rufus Griffin, Ray Clark and James “Jim” Clark; grandchildren, Christopher Dakota Barfield, Steven Pegram, Susanna Pegram, Skylar Pegram and Katherine Pegram; great grandchildren, Adaline Ann Barfield, Nolan Everette Barfield and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Edith Griffin; sisters, Kathy Clayton, Jane Wallace and Frances Griffin.  A celebration of life service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday April 25, 2023, at Cane Creek Friends Meeting in Snow Camp.  The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.  In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Cane Creek Friends Meeting at PO Box 611 Snow Camp NC, 27349.
