Timothy Wayne Caylor

Timothy Wayne Caylor, 63, of Mebane, passed away on September 28, 2023 in Honolulu, Hawaii.  He was the son of the late Gene and Ellen Caylor.  Tim was a proud husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He adored his beautiful wife of almost 30 years and the life they created. Though his visits with long-distance loved ones may have been few and far between, he made the most of every minute and enjoyed making memories in the kitchen. His face would light up when surrounded by his loved ones. Tim loved the Lord, his church and church family. He enjoyed NASCAR and the outdoors. When hunting season came around, you knew right where to find him, up in a deer stand. There was no other feeling to him, like the rush of a nibble on his fishing line. He valued the time he spent with his best friends, Sammy Lankford and Jay Wilson. More time to work on the farm with his friends after retirement was a blessing. He was an incredible man who always offered a helping hand. His contagious laughter and kind heart led to an abundance of friendships that he cherished.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Mary Caylor; sons, Mark Caylor (Rachel), Luke Caylor; daughters, Jennifer Caylor, Kimberly Turner, Michelle Gurney (Mike); sister, Kathy Anderson (Don); brothers, Rick Caylor (Cindy); Tom Caylor; brother in-law, William Holiday (Mo); 20 grandchildren, one great grandson and a host of extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday October 10, 2023 from 10am-11am at Hebron Community Church.  The funeral service will follow at 11am.  Internment will take place in the church cemetery.
