Timothy Morton Obituary

Timothy Dale Morton, 56, of Snow Camp passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Tim was born in Alamance County to William Huey and Carol Powell Morton both deceased.

Tim began his law enforcement career with the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office on March 27, 1989 and retired on March 31, 2018 from the Patrol Division. Once retired, he continued to work part-time with the Sheriff’s Office. During his 30 year career he served in many capacities. He earned his Advanced Certificate in Law Enforcement and was awarded an Advanced Service Award. Tim also served his community with the E. M. Holt Fire Department and continued even after retirement.

Tim is survived by his: wife, Becky Page Morton of the home. His son, Dustin Morton and his wife Allyson. Grandson, Raylan Morton. Brother, Danny Morton and his wife Sherry.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Randy Hobbs. Anyone that would like to pay their respects to Tim can do so from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM  Friday afternoon at McClure Funeral Home in Graham.

Donations may be made to the E. M. Holt Fire Department, 2172 Bellemont-Alamance Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
