NC and was the daughter of the late Thomas Oscar and Cora Caldonia Parker. Virginia was a lady who was always on the go. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as taking walks with her many walking sticks and had a special love for music, as she played the harmonica, piano, the harp or anything that made music. She was a lady of Faith and was strong in her beliefs but nothing made her more happy than her family sitting around the table for Sunday supper as she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Survivors include her daughters, Pamela M. Staley Ashe and husband Gary, and Cynthia M. Kawelo; her sons, Thomas F. McCann Jr. and wife Mary Beth and Patrick Shannon McCann and wife Cheri; her loving 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; her sister, Joan Pendergrass and her many loving nieces and nephews.
