He enjoyed reaching out to shut-in individuals, and treating them with sweets and gospel tracks. Surviving are his children, son, Thad Harris and his wife Lori and their six(6) children, Elliana, Audrey, Josiah, Isaac, Ainsley and Greenley of Rocky Mount, NC and son, Kirk Harris and his wife Brenda and their four(4) children, Faith, Luke, Reese and Levi of Stokesdale, NC; a brother, Charlie Harris and wife Sherry.
