William “Bill” Eaves Jr., 51, passed away on December 31, 2019 at his residence. The family will receive friends at his home on Sunday January 5, 2020 from 2-4. How can one man’s life be captured on a page? Bill was a loving husband, devoted father, loyal friend. He felt deeply and loved with his whole heart. He was a talented artist… preferring pencil and charcoal. He wanted so much to be a good parent, that he became a Stay at Home Dad (SAHD). He was an avid Star Trek fan and could probably quote many of the episodes and movies; Wrath of Kahn being one of his favorites. Karaoke was where his soul shined. He could belt out Frank Sinatra and ACDC, but my personal favorite was his rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. When he threw himself into something, he through his whole self into it. He would spend hours researching, watching YouTube, obsessing about the smallest details. Like when he not only built raised beds out of reclaimed wood, but planned out our composting plan to support an organic summer garden. He then became an expert in canning and made homemade hot sauce and spaghetti sauce. His Halloween costumes and Ren Faire costumes were legendary. He spent months gathering the most authentic pieces to create the look he wanted. His Dred Pirate Roberts was so good; people would stop and take pictures of him. He loved cooking and finding new ways to grill the perfect steak. I love him; he will be missed.
